We squeezed this fun shoot in just before New Years for Odette & Troy as they had to fly back to Montreal the very next morning. We'll be shooting their wedding come August. Can't wait! For now we hope you enjoy the photos.
We ran around Old Ladner for the last light of 2008 and grabbed some fun portraits of these two.
A little bit of goofing around is always fun.
Finding backdrops in small alleys.
Dodging Cars on this old bridge was fun, but it was getting colder and colder by the minute.
Hope you guys got home safe! We'll see you in in August!

Matt & Rachel: Sunset stories of true love.
Matt and Rachel are such a cute couple; we did this shoot in Ladner where they live. Along the water and in the old part of the town. Rachel has now left to go back home to Birmingham England for a few months. This shoot was a day or two before their last day together.
I was just loving these clouds; we underexposed the sky to get a dramatic effect for this series.
And a few silhouettes because they're fun!
So fun, you two were awesome! Hope you like the pics.
Best,
Dan & Kat

Kevin & April: Last light of Main Street Engagement Shoot
Come February, we're heading up to Harrison to capture Kevin and April's wedding. We're so excited! They have so much fun and creative energy and the four of us just clicked! We had so much fun with you two and we can't wait till your big day.
A few fun shots around Science World to start, playing around with the little bit of light left at the end of the day.
Throwing in a bit of Infrared
Kat's creative reflection shot, love it!
We shot right into the night, which comes far too early these days.
Counting the days, see you guys in February!

Blog: A new thing for us!
Something new! We've held off for so long, but it's calling to us and we can't resist any longer. We have FINALLY started a photoblog for our wedding site. We will likely not add every wedding we've shot in that last few years, so for those who may not see theirs, please don't be offended!
Also, we'll probably post the other various shoots and creatives we do for all to see.
We hope you enjoy. Take what you will from it, spelling errors and all;)

Shaun & Nicki: Fun times with old friends
It was our honor this weekend to photograph an old friend's wedding. I've known Shaun since I was still in high school and Nicki nearly as long. They really are a wonderful couple and I couldn't help but smile and get distracted all day, as the vast majority of the guest
were friends from years past. Kat and I really felt as if we were welcomed as guests, but as always, we had a job to do!Just love her eyes
Testing out a new lens, soon to become a favorite 24mm TC-E shift.
Love it when a classic comes out. We had a hard time keeping up to this one going to the reception!
The ceremony was at St. Johns on Granville, big but not too big. And oh so beautiful.
This classic church certainly gave us plenty to work with, unfortunately we had only 5 minutes before we had to rush off after the service.
Some quickies outside before the rest of the guest could catch up with us.
And on to a garden to take a few portraits...
A couple fun candids...
Pretty light under a cute little ivy covered bench.
No time to spare though, on to the rest of the night...
